PURPOSE:To observe stored picture information with a player with comparatively simple constitution, by forming a data block of fixed length on a DC-ROM corresponding to the change of an address equivalent to the fixed length. CONSTITUTION:In an index area 41 formed in the center part of the CD-ROM, an index 20 (program name) is stored. And on each of the addresses (m), m+2 x,...,m+x,m+3x,..., a picture name data program is recorded respectively. The length of the block of picture plane data is decided as the fixed length corresponding to an odd address and an even address. Therefore, the programs (a), (b), and (c) are recorded in data areas 42, 43, and 44, respectively.
