PURPOSE:To improve reliability of the titled device by forming a switch group with ever-closed contacts connected in series, and preventing a voltage drop by composing a drive circuit driven by the switch group of transistors in the titled device of an air conditioner for automobiles. CONSTITUTION:Setting the DEF mode causes switches 51f, 51e, and 51b to move in an arrow direction, 51e to open, switches 51f and 51b to close, and thereby a closed circuit is made. As a result, a transistor 60 is made to off, a transistor 72 to on, and a substrate 91 moves in a right direction to a brush 90 with a motor M rotated in a given direction. And when the brush 90 slidingly touches separated contacts 65 and 80, the motor M stops and the DEF mode is set. In the FOOT mode, a switch 51c opens, 51e closes, 51f opens, a transistor 66 is made to off, a transistor 74 to on, and the motor M reverses. This constitution enables a voltage drop to be prevented and reliability to be improved.
