Folding bed for a child, which comprises, on the one hand, a frame 1 consisting of a bottom 2, of two transverse elements 3 and of two longitudinal upper members 4 connecting the transverse elements and, on the other hand, a removable cover, is characterised in that each member 4 consists of two elements 11, 12 articulated in compasses configuration at a central articulation 13 forming a unilateral angular stop-piece, each member 4 being connected, at its ends, to each transverse element 3 of the frame by a coupling member 17 in relation to which it can turn about its longitudinal axis between two extreme opened-out and folded-up positions of the bed. <IMAGE>
