<p>To produce oxygen from air, the plant comprises a number of adsorption lines 1, 2, 3, etc., each comprising an adsorber Z1, Z2, Z3 etc., filled with zeolite molecular sieve, and an adsorber C1, C2, C3 etc., filled with carbon molcular sieve. In the case of each line, the cycle comprises a stage of simultaneous adsorption on both adsorbers in series and then, the two adsorbers being isolated: in the case of the first adsorber, a countercurrent desorption and then a recompression; and in the case of the second adsorber, a concurrent purge with the production gas, followed by a decompression comprising a stage of countercurrent desorption of oxygen. <IMAGE></p> |
