PURPOSE:To eliminate a process of reversing a negative electrode cover where negative electrode active material is filled for preventing scatter and drop of the negative electrode active material by putting a water repellent film and a positive electrode catalyst layer on diffusion paper in order, while making the diameter of the water-repellent film and the positive electrode catalyst layer slightly smaller than the inside diameter of a positive electrode can, and pressing the positive electrode catalyst layer near the periphery of its top surface. CONSTITUTION:In applying binding agent 13 in a circle at the peripheral range of the bottom of a positive electrode can 1 of a button type air battery, the range includes the whole surface of a step 1b of a recessed part 1a in the bottom to the periphery of the recessed part 1a. Diffusion paper 3 is put on the bottom, and its periphery is fixed to the bottom of the recessed part 1a by means of binding agent 13. Then a water-repellent film 4 is laminated on the diffusion paper 3, and the periphery of the film 4 is fixed to a positive electrode 1 by means of the binding agent 13 at the step 1b. Next a positive electrode catalyst layer 5 and a separator 6 are laminated on the film 4, and they are put on a support table 11. The diameter of the film 4 and the catalyst layer 5 is made smaller than the inside diameter of the positive electrode can 1, and pressure is applied near the periphery of the top surface of the catalyst 5, thereby scatter and drop of negative electrode active material in assembling process are prevented. |
