PURPOSE:To reproduce an information signal satisfactorily, by reproducing the information signal of a voice signal on which an azimuth is attached and is recorded, etc., with a gapless thin film head of magnetic flux response type. CONSTITUTION:When the recording and the reproduction of a video signal and a voice signal are performed with a composite magnetic head 200, the head 200 is arranged so that the width direction of the gap parts 211 and 212 of a thin film head 210 can be set along the diameter direction of a floppy disk 20. At the time of recording, the video signal is recorded on tracks T1 and T2 with the head 210, and the voice signal is recorded on a track T3 with the thin film head 220. Meanwhile, at the time of reproduction, the video signal is reproduced from the tracks T1 and T2 with the head 210, and the voice signal is reproduced from the track T3 with an MR head 230. Therefore, the voice signal is recorded with the head 220 that is a ring type magnetic head, however, the reproduction is performed with the head 230. Since the thickness of the head 230 is thin, gap loss is scarcely generated, thereby, it is possible to heighten a C/N. |
