PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of assembly quality, by providing a horizontal mounting surface part in the upper surface of a roof rail and brackets, forming a horizontal surface, in the peripheral edge back surface of a roof panel and connecting the mounting surface part to the brackets in the vertical direction by screw threads from the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A roof rail 2 forms its outer panel A in a stepped shape placing a horizontal mounting surface part C to the bottom side. The mounting surface part C forms an insertion hole D. The roof rail 2 forms a work access hole E in a part, corresponding to the insertion hole D, of an inner panel B in the bottom surface of the roof rail 2. While a roof panel 3 connects to its peripheral edge back surface brackets 3a-3d, forming a horizontal surface F, and this horizontal surface F protrusively provides a bolt G in the downward direction. The bolt G is placed in a position corresponding to the insertion hole D, and in the time of assembly, the roof panel 3, inserting the bolt G into the insertion hole D, can be easily assembled with the outer panel A of the roof rail 2 by a nut H from the bottom side through the work access hole E.
