Automatic component-inserting machine for circuit boards

A description is given of an automatic component-inserting machine for circuit boards, which has on a gripper bar which can be moved in the X and Y directions a pipette which can be moved in the Z direction, for the removal of electronic components from a magazine (= feeder) and depositing of these components on the circuit board. The machine according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that the control signals for the advancement of the components in the feeder are transmitted wirelessly to the latter. As a result, the feeders can be set in any desired sequence against a latch-in strip along the automatic component-inserting machine. The latch-in strip may, however, also be part of a separate feeder bank, which is loaded during working of the machine with a first feeder bank and at the end of the current working is exchanged for the first feeder bank without any time loss.
