A zoom lens for a television camera, which in particular can be mounted on an endoscope, has a lens tube provided with guiding recesses for radially mounted pins on the lens mounts, and two groups of lenses which can be displaced towards each other in order to adjust the focal length and displaced together in order to focus. The lens according to the invention is characterized by the following combination of features: the lens tube is guided slidingly in a bearing block in the direction of the optical axis of the lens and is secured against rotary movements, the guiding recesses are slits open at the front or the rear, which consist of a straight part running parallel to the optical axis which connects with the front or rear end of the tube, a part running concentrically with the optical axis and the actual curved track connecting with this part for controlling the movement of the lens groups, a second tube is mounted rotationally on the lens tube, on the inner surface of which are recesses parallel to the optical axis in which the pins engage. |
