PURPOSE:To easily make a read by storing a rod type wire member which has a magnet in an elastic soft material with fins in the gap between the window and decorative plate in an external box and sliding a wiper member through another wiper operating tool from outside the external box. CONSTITUTION:The rod type wiper member which is sectioned rectangularly is arranged in the gap between the window 2 and decorative plate 501 and the member 8 is provided with the fins bent corresponding to the internal surface 2A of the window 2 and the magnet covered with the soft elastic material. Then when it is difficult to read a metered value because of drops of water, etc., sticking on the internals surface 2A, the wiper operating tool 9 formed similarly to the member 8 is brought into contact with the front surface 2B of the window to attract the member 8, and the operating tool 9 is slid up-and- down to wipe the drops of water, etc. Consequently, the value is easily read.
