PURPOSE:To shorten the instruction processing time by clearing a temporary register for each instruction to decide whether the actions carried out by the instructions are normal or not based on the executing results of those instructions and at the same time clearing the temporary register in parallel with execution of the instructions. CONSTITUTION:A general-purpose register part 103 outputs the contents of an A register and a temporary register 1 latches the output contents of the A register. At the same time, a data memory part 102 outputs the contents of a memory stored in a designated address and a temporary register 3 latches these output contents. Then an arithmetic logical unit 104-5 adds the contents of registers 1 and 3 together and writes them into a temporary register 4. The register 4 outputs the result of said addition and the A register fetches the value of this addition to end the execution of an instruction. An execution control part 105 fetches the next instruction to decode it and at the same time delivers a clear signal to erase the data on the temporary registers. Thus the instruction processing time is shortened. |
