The invention relates to an arrangement for projecting individual droplets from outlet apertures of a so-called electrodynamically operated ink jet print head. In each case a plurality of rows, each having n drive elements which are designed as conductor loops 14 which are attached on one side to a wall of the print head and whose movable central parts 15 protrude into an ink chamber 17 and are penetrated by the field lines of a magnet system 19, form m planes of a print head in a tiered construction. The outlet and inlet apertures 11, 22 of the ink ducts 18 are arranged at any desired angle to one another in each row. The ink is supplied via the ink chamber, which is common to each row, likewise at any desired angle relative to the direction of the outlet apertures. The print head consisting of m planes has an improved magnet system and a large number of outlet apertures, can be supplied via m separate ink supply systems, and can be adapted to any given printer geometry. <IMAGE>
