In a holding system with a receiving part (4) held against a holding device (1) by a linear and/or rotary guide, in particular for tools for industrial robots, in which the movement of the receiving part (4) with respect to the holding device (1) can be damped by a recoiling damping element (5) which can be subjected to tensile or shear stresses, a simple arrangement is achieved, the motion of the receiving part (4) with respect to the holding device (1) is damped, and a restoring force is produced which ensures reliable maintenance of mid-position, by separating the damping eleement (5) structurally from the guide (2) for the linear and/or rotary motion and by exerting on the damping element (5) deflection forces essentially perpendicular to its direction of traction during movement of the receiving part (4) with respect to the holding device (1). |
