PURPOSE:To obtain a detection signal having good accuracy, by inputting the output signals from two detection electrodes of a detection element to a subtractor through a phase shifter and a voltage divider and outputting a detection signal of angular velocity on the basis of the output of the subtractor. CONSTITUTION:The output terminal 16 of a detection element 23 is earthed and the output signals from output terminals 19, 20 are supplied to phase shifters 24, 25. The output signals of the phase shifters 24, 25 are respectively supplied to voltage dividers 26, 27 while the output signals of the voltage dividers 26, 27 are supplied to a subtractor 28. When angular velocity vector OMEGA is generated, the AC voltages different in a phase from each other corresponding to Coriolis force are generated at the output terminals 19, 20 of the detection element 23. As a result, the output signal level of the subtractor 28 generates the change corresponding to the angular velocity vector OMEGA. By this method, the effect of a drive signal is eliminated and accurate detection can be performed. |
