<p>This invention relates to a wire cut electric spark machine (10) equipped with an electric shock prevention means. A guide roller (34a) which is disposed in front of a recovery box (38) for recovering an electrode wire (30) that has passed through an electrical discharge zone (36) and has been used up is mounted onto a substrate (56) made of an electrically conductive material and is fixed to a machine frame (26) through an insulating plate (58). A leakage current that leaks to the substrate due to disturbance in the travel of the electrode wire is caused to flow to a safety circuit (50) through a lead wire (52) and the leakage current signal stops instantaneously the supply of power of a discharge power source device (51) so as to prevent in advance an accident such as electric shock.</p> |
