The azo dyes of the formula <IMAGE> in which K is the radical of a coupling component of the benzene or naphthalene series or of the heterocyclic series, R1 is a group of the formula -CN, -CON(R2)R3, -COR4, -COOR5 or -SO2R6, the ring A may be substituted, R2 and R3 independently of one another are hydrogen or an optionally substituted C1-C10-alkyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl radical, R4, R5 and R6 are an optionally substituted C1-C10-alkyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl radical, X is -SO3H, -OSO3H or -SSO3H and m is the number 1 or 2, give dyeings with good fastness properties when applied to fibre materials which contain nitrogen groups or hydroxyl groups.
