In order to obtain a high degree of freedom from friction between a guide (2) and a rail (1), which is received by the latter in a longitudinally displaceable manner and is connected, for example, to a vehicle seat, without adversely affecting the possibility of the rail (1) being inserted automatically, said rail bears roller arrangements (7, 8) which are held on two opposing sides (3, 4) by means of clips (12), lie in each case between outer and inner pressure rails (13, 14; 15, 16) and have longitudinal recesses (11), as do the inner pressure rails (15, 16), which recesses serve for the passage of the clips (12) and in operation permit relative longitudinal movements between the various parts. <IMAGE>
