PURPOSE:To disperse a pigment, etc. uniformly in a fixing resin for toner and to obtain uniform and stable electrification characteristic of the toner by incorporating glycerol borate fatty acid ester or polyoxyethyleneglycerol borate fatty acid ester into a toner. CONSTITUTION:The toner of this invention comprises a compsn. contg. a dispersed pigment or a charge controlling agent in a fixing resin and incorporated with glycerol borate fatty acid ester or polyoxyethyleneglycerol borate fatty acid ester. The glycerol borate fatty acid ester has a chemical structure constituted of two glycerol molecules esterified with boric acid, and has terminal OH groups esterified with fatty acid directly or interposing a polyoxyethylene chain. By this constitution, several pigments and charge controlling agents can be dispersed finely and uniformly in a fixing resin providing thus stable and durable electrification characteristic. |
