<p>PURPOSE:To early and readily distinguish a plant cell containing a coloring agent by difference of color from other cell in living state without letting the cell die from a mixture of living cells obtained by coloring the plant cell with a specific coloring agent and biologically treating the cell. CONSTITUTION:A plant cell is colored with a coloring agent such as acridine based pigment, xanthene based pigment and isoquinoline based alkaloid and only the aimed cell containing a coloring agent from a mixture of living cell obtained by subjecting the colored cell to biological treatment, e.g. cell-fusing the colored cell with other cell or introducing a gene or protein to the colored cell and then cultivating the resultant cell is distinguished by the difference of the color from other cell and separated using a glass capillary, etc., to afford the plant cell for production of an useful substance of for a novel kind of seeds, etc.</p> |
