PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a product of good finish, by forming a flat boss plate and a curved part-peripheral small thickness cover to be cast by pouring a die casting metal between a spoke part core metal, having a horizontal curved part, and a boss part so that burr cutting is easily performed. CONSTITUTION:A ring core metal 11, constituting a ring part of a steering wheel, is connected to a boss 13, connected to a steering shaft, by a spoke core metal 12 constituting a spoke part, and the steering wheel constitutes its core metal. The spoke core metal 12 provides a horizontal curved part 12A for ensuring space, mounting various switches to be arranged, in the center part of a steering, and the steering wheel integrally forms each connection part 14a, 15a to be cast by pouring a die casting metal of aluminum alloy or the like. Here the boss connection part 14a forms a flat boss plate 14 and a small thickness cover part 14A. In this way, the steering wheel core metal, easily performing burr cutting of an end part, attains a good finish while easy manufacture.
