PURPOSE:To provide an anti-fogging agent which gives molded products of vinyl chloride polymers, which are excellent in anti-fogging properties and the persistence of said properties, containing a reaction product obtd. from a polyhydric alcohol, an alkylene oxide, a higher fatty acid and a dibasic acid or a (meth)acrylic acid cooligomer. CONSTITUTION:A 2-10C polyhydric alcohol (A) (e.g., sorbitol), a 2-4C alkylene oxide (B) (e.g., propylene oxide) and a 10-22C fatty acid (C) (e.g., stearic acid) are reacted with at least one member (D) selected from the group consisting of a 4-10C dibasic acid (a) (e.g., adipic acid) and a (meth)acrylic acid cooligomer (b) (e.g., cooligomer of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate/2-hydroxyethyl acrylate/ acrylic acid in a weight ratio of 90/5/5) to obtain a reaction product. The product is incorporated as an active ingredient to obtain an anti-fogging agent for molded products of vinyl chloride polymers.
