Rolling body bearing with a two-part cage

The invention relates to a rolling body bearing with a two-part cage band with pockets for receiving the rolling bodies which are separated from one another by webs. According to the invention, the two parts of the cage enclosing the rolling bodies between them are sections of an endless band and have, in the region of the webs touching one another, unevennesses for mutual, preferably snapping positive fitting. Preferably, both cage components are identical and congruent with one another so that the cage can be manufactured in a single tool. The new cage can be used both as a linear and as a radial bearing and manufactured in such a manner that it can be bent in its plane even when equipped. Impact points between the ends of the endless-band sections are arranged in an offset manner. The bearing is suitable inter alia for ball, cylinder and cross-roller bearings.
