PURPOSE:To prevent an image flow and the damage of an image carrying body by providing a roller which abuts on the image carrying body and can rotate, between a transfer means and an electrifying means. CONSTITUTION:On the peripheral surface of an image carrying body 10, a transfer electrode 11, a separate electrode 12, a cleaning case 20, and an electrifier 13 are provided, and on the inside of the case 20, a cleaning blade 22, a roller 31 being a cleaning member, used as a toner guiding roller in common and a scraper 32 brought into contact with said roller are provided. To the roller 31, a sponge roller containing fine abrasive grain abrasive is used. Also, the roller 31 is assembled into the case 20 attached to the frame member 33 of a supporting unit 30, and driven by bringing into contact with the peripheral surface of the image carrying body 10, and rotated counterclockwise.
