PURPOSE:To prevent core shift or row-off and to improve discharge of lubricating oil by arranging projections forming lifter holes, a supporting shaft forming a through hole and supporting part fixing both end thereof in the core for a cylinder head and also arranging a communicating hole communicating to the through hole. CONSTITUTION:The core 28 provides the plural projections 31 forming internal shapes of the lifter holes 6, which are integrately fixed, and the supporting shaft 32 forming the through holes 8 communicating the lifter holes 6 to outside. And, at one end of the supporting shaft 32, a first supporting part 32d held and fixed by the molds A, B is formed. Further, at the other end, the communicating holes 33 reaching to a fixed face 29a of the cylinder head 29 are formed and also a second supporting part 32b fixed by the mold A is formed. Therefore, by supporting the supporting shaft 32 by both ends, the supporting is made to surely and also by both supporting parts, the discharging passage of the lubricating oil is formed at both end parts of the penetrating hole 8 communicating to the lifter hole.
