PURPOSE:To speedily display a contents program by storing received contents programs by detected channels in a contents program storage means. CONSTITUTION:When channels are changed under remote control 11, channel data is sent to a CPU 24 through a channel selection control circuit 22 and a remote control interface 23. The CPU 24 judges the change of the channels to detect and store contents programs in a contents program storage memory 30 by the detected channels, so that the storage of the contents programs of the channels is recorded. Therefore, when the channels are changed and a next contents program is selected, the contents program which is already stored in the memory 30 are read out and displayed immediately on a CRT 16.
