PURPOSE:To enable electric power, whose frequency is stable regardless of the type of commercial frequency, to be supplied by connecting a governor deviation correcting lever by means of a governor deviation correcting spring to a governor lever, and then providing an automatic coupling device between the governor deviation correcting lever and a speed governing lever. CONSTITUTION:A mechanical governor M transmits a thrust force G deriving from the centrifugal force F produced by a governor weight 7 by means of a governor lever 10 to the control rack 8 of an injection pump 5. The governor lever 10 is energized by a governor spring 12, whose the other end is engagingly attached to the inner arm 16 of a speed governing lever 15. Hereupon, on the internal edge of a cylindrical shaft 18 for supporting the speed governing lever 15 on a governor case 15 is provided an arm 21, which constitutes a part of a governor deviation correcting lever 24, and then, between the arm 21 and a fork lever 11 is interposed a governor deviation adjusting spring 22. The correcting lever 24 can be switched to either of the low and high speed rotation set positions L,H, respectively and then, an automatic coupling device 26 is provided between the lever 24 and the speed governing lever 15.
