PURPOSE:To improve the spectral sensitivity of the titled material and to accelerate the bleaching of a developed silver by incorporating an emulsion which has high silver chloride content and is sensitized by a specified dyestuff, in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:One or more layers of the photosensitive layer contg. a prescribed coupler and a silver halide emulsion which is spectrally sensitized by the dyestuff shown by formula I, II or III and does not contain substantially silver iodide and contains >=80mol.% silver chloride, are provided on the titled material. The color image is formed by image-wise exposing the titled material, followed by developing the obtd. material with a color developer, and then by processing said material with a bleach-fix bath within 75sec at <=6.5pH. At this time, the amount of the coated silver halide is preferably <=0.78g/m<2> expressed in terms of silver, and the content of a bromine ion is <=0.002mol./l. And, the titled material is preferably developed with the developer which does not contain substantially benzyl alcohol, within 2min and 30sec. In the formulas, Z11 is benzoxazole, etc., Z12 is benzothiazole, etc., R11, R12, R21, R22 and R31 are each <=10C alkyl group, etc., Z21 is sulfur atom, etc., Z32 is sulfur atom, etc. |
