PURPOSE:To a granule agent, by blending a powder insoluble in water with magnesium metasilicate aluminate and anhydrous silicate having a specific particle size which are used as a binder in combination thereof. CONSTITUTION:A powder substantially insoluble in water (e.g. anhydrous or water-containing silicate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, beads made of plastic, etc., having 1-30mmu average particle size and used in cosmetic, dentifrice, medicine, etc.) is blended with >=30% magnesium metasilicate expressed by the formula based on the above-mentioned powder, anhydrous silicate having 1-100mmu average particle size and preferably water to afford water slurry, which is then sprayed and granulated to provide the aimed granule agent. The granule agent can be effectively blended in a composition containing water in a large amount such as dentifrice, scrub cleaner, cleanser or a composition used under circumstance using water in a large amount. The strength and shape of the granule agent is retained even in a composition containing water in a large amount and the granule agent can be produced from water slurry and the process is advantageous at the point of equipment because of making organic solvent unnecessary.
