PURPOSE:To prevent generation of minute cracks at the weld by furnishing a nickel coating with the thickness of 2 to 10 mum at the parts to be welded in a steel cell container and a steel lid body, and giving an annealing treatment in a nonacidic ambiance at 600 to 800 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:A cell container 1 and a lid body 3 are made of steel, and at least at the parts to be welded, nickel coating 1a and 3b with the thickness 2 to 10 mum are furnished, and the annealing treatment at 600 to 800 deg.C is given in a nonacidic ambiance. When the connection 4 is melted and cooled with laser beams 5 locally and instantly, deformation is suppressed by the presence of the nickel coating layers 1a and 3b. Consequently, a weld 6 with no cracks produced can be formed. |
