PURPOSE:To obtain a synthetic resin molded item through simple processes by a method wherein molding material is poured in a mold, and, after that, degassed under vacuum and, after the excees molding material in molding recessed parts is discharged under the condition that the outer surface is heated, further the material is excessively baked so as to gel the material. CONSTITUTION:Solated polyvinyl chloride molding material 33, which is stored in a vessel 32, is poured in the molding recessed parts 4 of a mold 1. After the mold 1 is housed in a vacuum degassing device 2, the upper part of the mold 1 is blocked by moving a hermetic lid member 9 downwards. A compressor 10 is put into operation so as to suck the air in the enclosed mold 1 in order to bring the interior of the mold near to vacuum state for degassing the molding material 33. Next, the lid member 9 is moved, and the mold 1 is taken out of the vacuum degassing device 2. After that, the outside surface of the molding recessed parts 4 are baked by heating with a baking device 3, and excess mold ing material 33 is exhausted. Finally, after the molding material 33 adhered to the inner surface of the molding recessed parts is gelled, the gelled material is released from the molding recessed parts.
