PURPOSE:To obtain the electrode head of a discharge printer at low cost, by a method wherein the second support is constituted of a material containing hexagonal boron nitride and an electrical conductive foil is adhered to both main surfaces of the first support or to one of them through an adhesive layer to constitute an electrode needle and the second support is adhered to said electrode needle, and the electrode needle is sandwiched by the two supports. CONSTITUTION:In an electrode head, an electrode needle 1 is constituted of electrolytic copper, while supports 2, 2' are constituted of hexagonal boron nitride and adhesive materials 3, 3' are constituted of an org. adhesive material (e.g., an epoxy resin adhesive material). The electrode needle 1 is formed by adhering electrolytic copper having a thickness of 35mum to the support 2 by the adhesive material 3 having a thickness of 10mum or less and subsequently applying photolithographic treatment and etching treatment to the electrolytic copper to form stripe like parallel electric conductors. The support 2' is further adhered to the support 2 having the electrode needle 1 constituted thereon by the adhesive material 3 to form the electrode head. When the leading end part of a recording electrode is pressed to discharge breakdown recording paper 5 using the electrode head, printing quality is made well and the discharge breakdown recording paper is not damaged. |
