PURPOSE:To improve a yield and quality by floating the packing on the level of a molten metal by feeding a gas to the packing formed by filling up granular substances in advance to the outlet port of a molten metal after storing the molten metal inside a container and then pouring the molten metal into other container. CONSTITUTION:A molten steel orifice 23 is closed by a slider 18 and a sand 22 is filled up in a nozzle 15 to store a molten steel 14 in a ladle 11. An argon gas is fed into an upper nozzle 15 via a gas flow hole 21 from a gas feeding means to float the sand 22 on the molten metal level of the molten steel. With this method the quality and yield of a product can be improved. |
