PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the constitution of a heat-developing device and to increase its heating ability by composing a heating conveyance path of a heating surface in a necessary shape and endless belts and sending back a body to be heated and conveyed. CONSTITUTION:The long-distance return conveyance path is formed of the arch-shaped heating surface formed of an infrared-ray heater 144a, an infrared- ray heater 144b, and a reflecting plate 151 and the endless belts 150a and 150b which slide on the heating surface. The body S to be heated and conveyed S is conveyed back while being clamped between those belts 150a and 150b and then heat-developed. The constitution is reduced in size because of this return conveyance path and the heating surface is increased greatly to improve the heating ability.
