PURPOSE:To enhance recording density and enhance environmental stability or the like by providing a recording layer comprising an organic coloring matter as a main constituent together with a crosslinkable resin comprising a specified polyol component and an isocyanate compound, on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 13 which comprises a composition comprising an organic coloring matter as a main constituent and a crosslinkable resin composition comprising a polyol component having a number average molecular weight of at least 3,000 and a hydroxyl number of at least 100mg.KOH and an isocyanate compound is provided on a transparent substrate 12 to produce an optical information recording medium 11. As for recording and reproduction, laser reproduction is carried out by focusing a laser beam 14 on the recording layer 13 in a spot size of 0.8-1.5mum by a focusing lens. The organic coloring matter may be a cyan coloring matter, an anthraquinone coloring matter, a triphenylmethane coloring matter, an arylamine coloring matter or the like. |
