发明名称 IMAGE-RECEIVING MATERIAL FOR THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable favorable image printing to be performed on a variety of printing materials such as rough papers and documents by providing at least two pressure sensitivity adhesive layers having different initial adhesive forces on the back side of a base provided with a dyeable resin layer for receiving a sublimable dye transferred thereto. CONSTITUTION:An image-receiving material for thermal transfer and a thermal transfer recording sheet are laid on each other, and heating thereof is conducted by a thermal head or the like, whereby a sublimable dye is transferred through sublimation to a dyeable resin layer of the image-receiving material, thereby forming an image. Then, the image-receiving material is taken out, and is accurately set to a desired position on an object 4 to which the image is to be transferred, by a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3a having a low initial adhesive force. The entire body of the image- receiving material is adhered to the object 4 by lamination rolls 5, whereby the image- receiving material is firmly adhered to the object 4 through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3b having a high initial adhesive force, thereby forming an image. In this case, positioning is conducted through several adjustments by using the adhesive layer 3a, and since the initial adhesive force of the layer 3a is low, easy releasing can be ensured, and breakage of the object 4 or the releasing of a printed image will not be generated.
