PURPOSE:To visually confirm contents of a bit plane memory BPM by receiving the output of a picture memory and that of the BPM as an address and outputting the overlap display result of contents of these two memories. CONSTITUTION:In case of overlap display of contents of a picture memory 1 and BPM 2, a look-up table memory 3 takes in the output of the picture memory 1 and that of the BPM 2 as the address. A value which is different from contents of picture data and can be discriminated on a display device 6 by a person is stored in this address and is outputted. Therefore, contents of the BPM 2 can be confirmed on the display device 6 in any case. Thus, contents of the BPM can be visually confirmed on the display device by a person in case of overlap display of contents of the BPM whichever picture data is stored in the memory. |
