PURPOSE:To enable recording to be executed while converting recording density without increasing processing time also by a method wherein the number of first records before conversion is divided by the greatest common divisor of the number of second records and a recording data after conversion is obtained referring to a conversion table having the obtained memory area of unit number of recordings before conversion. CONSTITUTION:An address on a correction pattern table 2 corresponding to a recording data read out is calculated with an extential pattern conversion means 3 and a stored data is outputted. Then, a recording data outputted from the extential pattern conversion means 3 is converted on one byte basis referring to a shift table 4 storing a shift amount on a register of a recording data outputted by a data adjustable means 5 and is recorded by a recording means 6. Therefore, since a recording area of an extensive amount is not required and multiplication and decision are unnecessary, processing time is also not increased and recording can be carried out converting recording density. |
