摘要 PURPOSE:To improve a spatial resolution of an image by a construction wherein a plurality of detector rings formed by arranging a number of radiation detectors in the shape of a ring are so laminated and disposed that the position in the circumferential direction of each detector slides in each ring from others. CONSTITUTION:Detectors in adjacent ones of detector rings 1-4 are so disposed that the positions thereof are slided in the circumferential direction by D/2 (D denotes the width in the circumferential direction of a detector 5) from each other. When simultaneous counts of the two adjacent rings are found, a sampling interval of D/4 can be attained. The data thus found are the ones in a position being different by L/2 (L denotes the width in the direction of slice thickness of the detector 5) in the direction of lamination of the rings, from the data found by one ring alone. After data are collected by one ring, therefore, the two rings are shifted by L/2 in the direction of slice thickness in relation to an object to be inspected, so as to collect data by simultaneous counts of the two rings. This construction enables the avoidance of positional slippage and the collection of data of high sampling density which relate to a slice plane in the same position in the direction of slice thickness.
