PURPOSE:To enable a paper to be accurately sucked-in to the first printing position, by setting a paper feed quantity by a feed quantity setting part according to the kind of the paper through using a correction switch and feed quantity setting switches provided on an operator panel. CONSTITUTION:A feed quantity setting part 14 of a printer-controlling part 10 consisting of a microcomputer varies a paper feed quantity presently selected, according to an input from a correction switch 16 on an operator panel 12, and stores a changed feed quantity k1-k3 into a corresponding position in a feed quantity storage part 13 according to a designation of an ordinary paper S1, an envelope S2 or a thin paper S3 by feed quantity setting switches 17. When a paper is detected by a paper-detecting sensor 18, a feed quantity controlling part 15 generates pulses corresponding to the feed quantity k1-k3 selected and read from the storage part 13, thereby driving a pulse motor 19. Thus, the paper can be accurately sucked-in to the first printing position. |
