PURPOSE:To enable the angle measuring processing of a beam signal by a simple circuit construction wherein a variable gain amplifier, a detector circuit, a level comparator circuit, a processing unit, etc. are provided. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal is amplified by a variable gain amplifier 1 and led to a DPSK demodulator circuit 2 and a detector circuit 3. A carrier component of a guidance signal is removed by the detector circuit 3, and thereby a beam envelope waveform is obtained. The beam envelope waveform is inputted to plus input terminals of a plurality of level comparator circuits, e.g. comparators 9-12, which are connected in parallel, and is compared with four kinds of minus input reference voltages +6dB, +1dB, 0dB and -3dB respectively. The results of this comparison are inputted to RSFF 8, the latch output of which can be read and reset arbitrarily by a processing unit 4. Then the processing unit 4 controls a gain of the amplifier through a D-A converter 5 so that the peak of a beam signal be in accord constantly with a reference voltage 0dB, and stores the rise and fall times of the signal according to the outputs of the level comparator circuits, so as to conduct angle measurement.
