PURPOSE:To improve operability by determining an equal allocation width by referring to the number of characters of an inputted character-string, the whole allocation width, and a prescribed table, and bringing this equally allocated character-string to centering against the whole allocation width. CONSTITUTION:The titled processor is provided with a table 11 in which the number of characters of a character-string which has been set at every allocation width of the whole, and 2 numerical values of the width for allocating equally its character-string are functions, and based on the number of characters of the inputted character-string, the whole allocation width and the table 11, and equal allocation width is determined. Subsequently, this equally allocated character-string is brought to centering against the whole allocation width. After the character-string has been inputted in such a way, an ideal equal allocation and the centering are executed automatically in accordance with the number of inputted characters, by only executing the equal allocation and the function of centering. In such a way, the operability is improved.
