PURPOSE:To estimate the future sensitivity secular change of each sensor by finding the deterioration characteristics of each form sensor as to a stress quantity by using pieces of sensitive information on respective sensors which are collected to a diagnostic sensor from respective plants through remote communication lines. CONSTITUTION:Measurement control systems 4a, 4b, and 4c at respective plants A(1a), B(1b), and C(1c) monitor the operation states of plant processes 2a, 2b, and 2c by various sensors 3a, 3b... and send commands to various switches 11, solenoid valves 12, etc., to perform plant operation control. Respective pieces of sensor information are gathered to measurement information communication stations 5a, 5b, and 5c and sent to a remote diagnostic center 7 through remote communication lines 6a, 6b, and 6c. The remote diagnostic center 7 finds the deterioration characteristics of the respective form sensors as to stress quantities corresponding to a variety of plant operations and estimates the future sensitivity secular changes of the respective sensors according to the characteristics.
