PURPOSE:To facilitate the ajusting of the titled circuit by generating the three values of AMI codes by connecting the respective inverse outputs of two suites of drivers having open collector type positively inverted outputs in cross. CONSTITUTION:A signal generation part 1 generates binary signals (6), (7) to be inputted to a transformer drive part 2 from a clock (1) and an NRZ coe data (2). The inverse outputs of the respective drivers of the transformer driving part 2 having two open collector type positively inverted outputs, are connected to the other positively inverted outputs. Therefore, by means of the combination of H and L of driver inputs (6) and (7), the direction of a current through a transformer 4 can be changed or the current itself can be stopped, and thus the three values '0', '+', '-' of an AMI code can be outputted. As a result, only a +5V signal power source is necessary and no other voltage-generating circuits are necessary, plus the three values can be discriminated digitally, hence the ajustment work is easy.
