PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently assign time slots by adding information indicating the use condition of each time slot to the time slot. CONSTITUTION:Information (time slot state indicating symbols S1 and S2) indicating used conditions of the time slot for voice data channel (B channel) and the time slot for terminal control data channel (D channel) are added to these time slots respectively. Plural line concentrating and distributing terminals monitor idle time slots in one frame in accordance with these information and acquire idle time slots to originate calls. Thus, time slots are easily efficiently assigned to plural line concentrating and distributing terminals.
