PURPOSE:To increase the wear resistance of the abutting surface of the tip of a projection body for a body to be measured and to take a measurement correctly for a long period by forming the abutting surface of light-transmissive ceramic of >=30% in light transmissivity. CONSTITUTION:A body holder N is constituted by coupling a tip chip made of light-transmissive ceramic of >=30% in light transmissivity, a tip member 2 made of a transparent body, a light scattering layer 3 made of a translucent body, and a rear member 4 made of a transparent body, and also has a through hole N1 into which a hose for a vacuum chuck is inserted. This body holder N is covered with the light scattering layer 3 completely except the through hole N1, so neither a light and shade part appears in a shadow of the body holder N and the abutting surface 1a for the body to be measured is formed of the light-transmissive ceramic, so its wear is small and long-period use is realized.
