PURPOSE:To conduct a complete combustion of a short annular and blue flame in which the flow of a combustion gas and an internal pressure balance are unified over all the circum ference of the burner and the combustion flame is uniformly distributed, by disposing within a heat exchanger of a substantially annular shape, similarly annular heater each having a diameter smaller than that of the heat exchanger at predetermined intervals and substantially concentrically. CONSTITUTION:Combustion air is divided and supplied from an air supply port 23 to a primary air port 10 and a mixed air hole 14 as primary air, and to plurality of secondary air holes 17 as secondary air. A liquid fuel injected through a fuel nozzle 9 receives the high tempera ture heating of a vaporizing plate 8 and is vaporized, and then injected into a mixing chamber 13 through a gas ejection hole 11. Then, the liquid fuel is converted to a dense mixed gas by receiving primary air from a mixed air hole 14, further uniformly distributed by a smoothing plate 15 and is supplied to a combustion chamber 16 and ignited by an igniter 19. Heaters A, each having a diameter smaller than that of a heat exchanger 21 and an annular shape, are disposed and constituted at predetermined intervals B and B' in a substan tially concentric manner, whereby a combustion flame 20 formed on the heated A becomes clean, short and blue in an annular shape, and is dispersed over all the peripheral surfaces of the heat exchanger.
