PURPOSE:To freely select a commodity according to the liking of a customer and to prevent unjustice weighing, by connecting a pack sealer for sealing the opening part of a bag having the commodity received therein to a weighing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus has a control part receiving the input of the signal from a preset key C selecting the name of a commodity weighed in the state packed in a bag and operating the price of the commodity from the weighing data of the weighed commodity and a printer printing predetermined commodity data on a label. A bag sealing machine (pack sealer) A and the preset key C having the pattern of the commodity to be weighed displayed thereon are connected to an electronic balance B. The issue timing of a label of the electronic balance B is set so that a customer weighs the commodity on the basis of the signal from the pack sealer A and subsequently confirms that the opening part of the bag having the commodity to be weighed charged therein is sealed by the pack sealer A to issue the label. By this method, the commodity can be freely selected according to the liking of the customer and unjustice weighing can be prevented.
