PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having high hardness, having small adhesiveness and having small wear and deformation at a high temp. by quench solidifying the metal compounded with Ag, etc., and the metal which separates into two phases from the same at specific ratios and dispersing the desired metallic particles into a matrix. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal contg. the matrix metal A and the metal B which separates into two phases from the same and having 0.5-20wt.% metal B for the total volume is quench solidified. In this method, the titled material in which the particles of the metal B having 0.01-1mum particle size are uniformly dispersed into the metal A and the ratio of the metal B is regulated to 0.5-20% is obtd. The metal A is selected from Ag, Au and Cu and the metal B is selected from Ni, Cr, Fe, Co, Si, Rh and V. In this composite material, since the dispersion metals are dispersed into the matrix, it can be widely used for mechanical parts, conducting paste, etc.
