<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the dust sticking on an impeller and the corrosion of the impeller by spraying an aq. soln. contg. the specified amts. of molybdic acid, phosphonopolycarboxylic acids, an aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid, and an acrylic water-soluble polymer on the impeller. CONSTITUTION:The aq. soln. contg. respectively >=1ppm, or preferably <=50ppm, molybdic acid or its alkali salt (Na salt), phosphonopolycarboxylic acids (2- phosphono-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid or its salt), an aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid (gluconic acid or citric acid) or its salt (Na salt), and an acrylic water-soluble polymer (having about 1,000-10,000mol.wt.) is sprayed on the impeller of the induced-draft exhauster in the device for treating the converter exhaust gas contg. iron oxide. By this method faults such as the sticking of dust on the impeller, the corrosion of the impeller, etc., can be prevented.</p> |
