PURPOSE:To obtain a skin cosmetic capable of improving and promoting water- retaining function of skin, by compounding a cholesterol glycolipid and/or cholesterol phosphoric acid ester salt. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic contains a compound selected from cholesterol glycolipid (e.g. cholesterol glucose) and/or cholesterol phosphoric acid ester salt. Said compound further densifies the lipid between the cells of horny layer, promotes its water-permeation barrier function to keep the moisture-retaining mechanism of horny layer in healthy state and improves or prevents the drying and roughening of skin. |
